In case a foreign individual wishes to acquire an apartment in residential complexes as a foreign individual, she/he may well do so in his/her capacity of a foreign person. There is not a need for establishment of a Bulgarian company to carry out the acquisitions.

In order to overcome the restriction on the land acquisition, foreigners deed to register a Bulgarian legal entity and carry out the acquisitions through the Bulgarian vehicle.
