News: Round Table on Case-law of EU Court of Justice hosted by the Bulgarian Parliament

On 3 November 2011 a round table on “The Case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Support of the Bulgarian Financial legislation” was held at the Bulgarian Parliament. The round table was initiated by the Budget and Finance Committee of the Bulgarian Parliament and was supported by Mr. Alexander Arabadjiev – the Bulgarian Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union.

One of the speakers at the round table was Veselina Petkova – an Associate at Delchev & Partners Law Firm. She spoke on the (non-)compliance of the Bulgarian VAT Act with the Court of Justice case-law and presented her view on the evolution of the Bulgarian VAT legislation stimulated by the Court of Justice case-law.

The other speakers at the round table included Alexander Arabadjiev (Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union), Jean-Philippe Christienne (Référendaire in the cabinet of Judge Alexander Arabadyiev) and Donka Chakyrova (Judge at the Bulgarian Supreme Administrative Court).
